Hello !

My name is Karim, I’m a musician and yoga teacher in Lausanne.

Welcome. My name is Karim, and I’ve been teaching yoga in Lausanne since 2015. My approach is rooted in tradition while staying open to the realities of our modern lives. It’s a living practice — one that connects movement, breath, voice and presence, without chasing performance, but rather exploring authenticity, inner listening and transformation.

If you’re looking for a space to breathe, reconnect, strengthen your body — maybe even upside down — and explore a practice that is human, grounded and open-hearted, I’d be happy to welcome you.

An inclusive and integrated approach to yoga

The yoga I share weaves together postures (āsana), conscious breathing (prāṇāyāma), meditation, mantra chanting, kirtan, and the inner path of Bhakti Yoga — the yoga of the heart. It’s a practice that honours the depth of tradition, while remaining accessible to everyone, regardless of age, level or beliefs.

I believe yoga begins wherever you are — with your strengths, your doubts, your curiosity, and your desire to grow. Whether you’re a complete beginner or a seasoned practitioner, you’re welcome here.

What I offer in Lausanne

I propose several ways to explore and deepen your practice — all grounded in care, presence and a sincere connection to the body and heart:

Weekly group classes

Accessible sessions open to all levels, blending movement, breath and deep relaxation. Each class focuses on a theme — balance, openness, grounding, fluidity — and is an invitation to return to yourself.

Thematic workshops

Longer sessions, usually on weekends, to explore specific topics in depth: inversions (like handstands), mantra and kirtan, Bhakti Yoga, and sound-based practices.

Kirtans and events

I regularly host open kirtan circles — mantra chanting gatherings that are open to all. No need to be a singer or musician. Just bring your voice and your presence — we sing together, in a joyful and meditative atmosphere.

Certified Yoga Alliance teacher training

I organize and teach in Yoga Alliance-certified teacher trainings (RYT 200 & 300), especially modules on Bhakti Yoga, mantra, philosophy, and how to bring voice and heart into your teaching.
